Wasan Puengprasert

A Thai fashion photographer known for his refined visual style and deep understanding of form, light, and narrative. After graduating from the Department of Cinematography and Photography at the Bangkok Technology Institute, he began his career working with many of Thailand’s leading fashion and lifestyle magazines. Over the years, his work has appeared in publications such as HELLO!, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Prestige, Dichan, Image, Ploygampetch, Vogue Thailand, and GQ Thailand. From 2008 to 2014, he served as Head of Fashion Photography at Dichan Magazine, shaping the visual direction of Thai fashion media during that period.


Beyond editorial work, he has contributed as a still photographer for international film productions, including The Last Full Measure (2019) and Triple Threat (2019), as well as the Olympic 2024 Fashion Set for Vogue Thailand. He currently holds the position of Vice President of the Royal Photographic Society of Thailand and lectures at Silpakorn University, where he teaches Basic Fashion and Portrait Photography in the Department of Fashion Design, Faculty of Decorative Arts.


His artistic practice extends into exhibition work, exploring the intersection of fashion, identity, and perception. His solo exhibitions include Visionaries: 40 Years of Thai Fashion Through the Eyes of Photographers and Summer Reloaded at Siam Paragon, Relation and B&W 3D Fashion at Siam Center, and Tea Time a Lady at Agaligo, Bangkok. He has also participated in group exhibitions such as Pha-Thai at Zen Department Store and Contemporary Photo Exhibition in Bangkok. Through his lens, he continues to document the evolving language of Thai fashion and the personalities that define it.
