Theme of the year
We believe that the culture and traditions of the place where a person was born and raised become the basis for many things that happen to him/her in life.
The theme of this year's competition is "Seeds of the Future: designs based on local culture, crafts and traditions".
The theme was born after an official visit by the Gemological Institute of Thailand (GIT) to Eurus Gallery. Eurus Gallery founders Anna Minakova and Zakhar Borisenko in a conversation with Mr. Sittichai Parinyanusorn, Deputy Director of GIT, discussed the importance of identity in jewellery art as fundamental and shaping the understanding of the artist's role in the world.
