Zhenya Mironov is contemporary artist, using photography as a medium. Born in 1988 in Russia, got MFA in photography in Moscow State Art University.
Since 2008 did over 25 solo exhibition. A member of international festivals Photobiennale 2014, Photobiennale 2016, group shows in Multimedia Art Museum and Moscow Museum of Contemporary art.
Was nominated for Kandinsky prize, Konchalovsky prize and First Moscow Art prize. Nominee of 2015 Nord Art and Bloom Award 2016 (Germany). In 2017 was part of residency “Cite Internationale Des arts” in Paris. Was part of MAP Toulouse photography festival (France). Did special project for Qatar (selected by
Contemporary Art center Garage).
In 2019 was named among ten most promising young artists in Russia. Participated in VII International cultural forum, art fairs Cosmoscow 2018-2022 and Da!Moscow. Represented by Glaz gallery, Moscow.
His works are in important museum collections (Multimedia Art Museum, State Russian museum, MMCA) as well as in big corporate collections (Erarta museum, Ruarts, Credit Suisse, Qatar museums, Kultutamt landeshauptstand Dusseldorf, FBK Grant Thornton, Nord Art Collection).
