Jean-Christophe Couet is a Franco-American artist working and living in New York City. He obtained his MFA at The Film Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague. He was a resident at Fabrica, research center, in Italy and Le Fresnoy, National Studio of Contemporary Arts, in France. Jean-Christophe’s work has been published in Colors magazine and Courrier Japon. He has worked with UNICEF and OSCE. His films have won several awards and have been exhibited at Paris Photo, la Maison Européene de la Photographie and The Half King in New York. Jean-Christophe Couet launched a non-profit organization, Transmission NYC, offering an alternative, creative support for people suffering from multiple sclerosis.
