There is no Chineseness in it though, everything is flawless, subtle, perfect. Ilgiz F. studied traditional Chinese art techniques – from wood carving to porcelain and lacquer miniatures – and applied them to work with gold, enamel and precious gemstones. The result is a true work of jewellery art.

Ilgiz Fazulzyanov was born in 1968 in Zelenodolsk, Republic of Tatarstan. In 1990 after graduating from an art school he founded a workshop of stained glass and silk painting in Kazan.
