This piece has a fascinating story dedicated to vineyards and wine, and it has roses because often, vineyards are surrounded by rose bushes — they serve as an early warning system for diseases and pests that could harm the vines.Secondly, the rubies symbolize the grapes from the vineyard. Interestingly, when inverted it cleverly transforms into a depiction of grapes being squeezed into a glass of wine.
Ilgiz Fazulzyanov was born in 1968 in Zelenodolsk, Republic of Tatarstan. In 1990 after graduating from an art school he founded a workshop of stained glass and silk painting in Kazan.
