The Beginning earrings are inspired by nature, which is one of Ilgiz's primary sources of creative inspiration alongside with Art Nouveau and Art Deco. These earrings are called "The Beginning" for the depiction of a small sprout emerging from the soil, which is done with green enamel and green emeralds.
What sets this piece apart is its unique design, without the traditional back part even when reversed, its beauty remains intact reflecting a high jewelry approach. It's a very smart decision as when worn with a high hairdo it can be seen from the back side and in this case, it will be as beautiful as from the front side.
Ilgiz Fazulzyanov was born in 1968 in Zelenodolsk, Republic of Tatarstan. In 1990 after graduating from an art school he founded a workshop of stained glass and silk painting in Kazan.
