Wu’s Lion head is unbelievably realistic and detailed in the center of the piece and then slowly transforms to almost an abstract ornament. There were many lions created by different jewellery artists but nothing like that ever before Wu.

Richard Wu founded the “Liu Guangjia” Oriental jewelry brand in 2005. He established a jade carving studio in Suzhou in 2012, learning the intricacies of the craft along the way.
